How we helped Cutters generate over 1,000 new customers through collaborating with TikTok influencers

The Challenge

Cutters wanted to reach and strengthen their brand perception among Gen Z, as well as increase traffic in their salons. The main focus was therefore to do brand-building activities targeted at this segment. At the same time, we facilitated tracking of the sales-driving impact of the activation through discount codes.

The Approach

With the help of the inzpire me platform, our campaign team was able to efficiently start identifying the right profiles for the activation based on Cutters' goals and criteria.

  • "Brand Matching": We started by getting to know Cutters as a brand, allowing us to find the right profiles that felt authentic to the brand and aligned with their values, communication, and style.
  • "Audience insights and data": Using performance-based and demographic filters, we were able to identify TikTok profiles with a strong reach among Gen Z, as well as examine engagement rates and previous results to optimise for conversions.

The Results

We ended up with 12 profiles with a combined following of over 1,145,000 that were a perfect fit to represent Cutters. The main focus was on the style and aesthetics of the profiles, with keywords like humorous, down-to-earth, entertaining, and energetic. Of the profiles that received the booking, 85% accepted, showing we matched the brand well. The remaining 15% declined due to working with a competitor. Altogether, the profiles posted 15 videos across two campaign periods.
